Be ready – our shoes are coming! In April you will be able to see them for yourself. Until then, each pair will receive a total of 6 hours of love and attention to pass every step of the production process. The result will be our first five models – handmade, stylish and unique. However, before our shoes arrive, we want to take the opportunity to tell you about our shoes‘ heritage.

The origin of The Cano Shoe lies in the huarache. Directly translated this means sandal. But the huarache stands for much more than that. In Mexico the shoe is better known for its woven leather strings that make heads turn. Their special production processes have been passed on and improved over generations. But one thing remained the same – Huaraches have always been the result of the finest craftsmanship. Hence, only those who follow the original attributes can be called traditional huaraches.

While honoring these traditions, we use contemporary design to produce the modern huarache. Our shoe is handmade by Mexican artisans, underlining its traditional manufacturing process, while including European standards for quality and comfort.
