Curtido Vegetal
El curtido vegetal es una tradición artesanal asociada a los inicios de la Industria en México.
Beruma tiene una tradición de más de 150 años que ha pasado por cuatro generaciones.
El proceso de curtido vegetal esta basado en el uso de taninos, que son extractos del árbol acacia procedente de Australia e introducida en Sudáfrica en 1871, responsable de la transformación del cuero animal a un material resistente y compacto a través del tiempo.
El curtido vegetal permite la transpiración de la piel .
WE LOOK FOR A CIRCULAR ECONOMY
La vaquetilla o piel curtida al vegetal, envejece con el paso del tiempo sin deteriorarse, ni comprometiendo su resistencia. Dándole una apariencia antigua (vintage look) vislumbrando unas sombras cálidas, mostrando evidencia de ser un producto natural.
